Labor Day Weekend

My awesome cousins came to visit us this Labor Day weekend.  This is me with Boston checking out a lizard we caught.

We hung out at the river, played disc golf, and just had lots and lots of fun together.

Summer Fun!

This summer I went to swim lessons. Ruth Carling is a really good swim teacher! I will be starting my second year of pre-school with Miss Sue this fall.

Today I took lunch to my Dad at his work.

When I grow up I want to go on a mission to teach the gospel.

My favorite things are:

1. I love noodles, oranges, pizza, and meatballs
2. Play with my toys
3. Play with board games and especially puzzles! I make my mom play with me everyday.
4. Go to the pool and do swimming lessons.

I like to play with my sisters and brothers.

Messy Boy

This little boy always has a messy face.  If he was allowed, he'd be munching on snacks and slurping on juice all day long.  He is an endless little pit.

Andrew is 2 years old!

Andrew turned 2 a week ago.  He is a crazy little boy who loves to get into everything. 
He loves dunking Barbie Dolls in the toilet to get their hair wet. 
He loves to dump boxes of cereal on the floor.
He loves to draw with markers on everything in our house, especially the walls, floors, and furniture.
He thinks its great to wear Cassee's skirts around the house all day.
He loves to lift up Mommy's shirt and play with her belly button.   He's been told that there's a baby in it, but will be very confused and surprised when Mommy's tummy deflates in a few weeks and there's a new little person taking the space on her lap.
He loves to bite, pinch, and scratch his siblings.  (He's getting a head start to show who's boss so they don't beat him up first.)
His favorite words are Mommy, bye-bye, Cassee, pizza, ha (that means yes), dress, wet, and of course, no.
He's the best eater in the house, let's hope that doesn't change as he fully heads into his terrible two's.  And since he's the best eater in the house, he's also been dubbed the pooping machine!  
He loves to throw things and kick any ball he sees.
He now sleeps in his big boy toddler bed.  Sometimes he stays in it, often he does not.
He went to the doctor today.  He's a healthy, active little boy.  He weighs 27.4 lbs and was 35.5 inches tall.
We all love Andrew and are glad he's in the family!!

Nursery Time!

Andrew reached the milestone of 18 months old last week. He is now allowed to go to the "nursery" class at church. Dan teaches a sunday school class during the second hour and I play the piano for Primary (the older kids). Andrew has been a little terror running around for the past few months. We are so glad he can now join the other 18 month to 3 year olds at church.
He is getting so big. He loves to say Mommy and No. (Aren't those usually the first two words to learn??) He can also say Daddy, All-done, and Cheese (for the camera).
He's still a little biter and loves to make messes.
He is one active little boy!
We sure love him though!

Andrew's First Haircut

Andrew is getting close to 17 months and hasn't had a haircut yet.
He was getting a nice little mullet going on.
Daddy pulled out the clippers tonight to give him his first haircut.
Thank goodness for big sisters to help in the process.
You could say he did NOT enjoy the experience.
But he looks like such a grown up little man now!

Playing Around with a Cowboy Hat!

We had fun playing around with Adam's cowboy hat the other day.
Andrew was in a great mood and had the funnest smiles!

Yikes! This is the only picture I took of Andrew at his 11 month mark. Between Cassee's birthday and preschool graduation, Andrew kind of got forgotten.
He'll be one year old before we know it!

Andrew is getting bigger and bigger.

He sits up great now.

He's getting down the army crawl really well!

He's starting to sleep more and more on his tummy. I find him in that position every morning now.

And he absolutely loves to take baths. He loves to splash, splash, splash. And boy can he do it well!

Andrew at 9 months

Here's our little button at 9 months old. He was a little sick with a bad cold for a few weeks.
He's now 16 pounds too.
He loves to eat. You wouldn't know it by looking at his skinny legs, but he is a good eater.
He wants that camera too!!

Aunt Donna's visit

Great Aunt Donna and Uncle Mike came to visit from ND.
They got a hotel room in town and let everyone go swimming.
This was Andrew's first time swimming in a pool.
