Andrew's First Christmas - IN JULY!

Nana and Papa had Christmas in July this year. Partly because we all came home in July which means we wouldn't come again that year, and partly because it's so cold there, none of us like travelling in the cold winter weather!

Andrew's Blessing Day

We blessed Andrew in ND the same day that Braden got baptised.
Lots of family came to support us. It was a beautiful day.

ND trip - Andrew with Extended Family

We took a family vacation trip - on an airplane!- to ND this summer. Here's Mommy and Andrew at Nana and Papa's house on the farm.

Great Grandma Gietzen. Grandma died shortly after these pictures were taken. We were very glad we went to ND when we did so we could see her one last time and so that she could have the chance to meet her latest great grandchild. It was a very touching moment. Grandma always loved babies and it was still evident in the way she held him, looked at him and talked to him. She was a loving grandmother and we miss her.
